Sales Consultant

New York

boostr is looking for a Sales Consultant to work from our New York City headquarters.  This is a multi-faceted position with a primary focus on providing advanced, pre-sales technical support to the Sales team.  This role will be ideal for someone with a technical background in Enterprise Ad Tech platforms and systems and/or experience working within Operations or Sales Solutions on the Publisher/Content side of the Media industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales team to formulate and execute sales strategy
  • Assist in the pre-qualifying (Discovery phase) of prospects, identifying integration requirements and possible product development needs
  • Oversee the buildout of customized demos for boostr platforms based upon prospects’ general category requirements + details revealed during Discovery
  • Act as subject matter expert for boostr’s various revenue mgmt. systems and associated modules within
  • Work closely with the Migration and Solutions teams writing SOWs for prospective clients
  • Collaborate with Product Management on market feedback

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into plain business terms
  • Previous experience and a high level of comfort with client interaction and direct communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; equally good listening skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with platforms like DFP and Freewheel, as well as Programmatic Demand & Supply side platforms
  • Extensive work around or within various CRM and/or OMS platforms (Publisher-side in particular)
  • Programmatic exchange monetization (PG, PMP, and/or Open Exchange)
  • Master’s Degree
